HOMES FALLING APART......FAMILIES IN RUINS
People
make mistakes! They get things right and wrong....and Love very often
suffers....and suffers gradually...until this beautiful feeling is
replaced by indiference, or tragically sayng...by hate.
The
reasons are many, but the origin is always the pride. The pride can
lead us to the betrayal of one of the spouses, to the dispair of the
family and also the bankruptcy. Be careful with pride!! It can
destroy you!!!
These
three reasons in the paragraph above are the main reason of people
breaking up!!This has brought much pain to people’s heart.
The
image of king Davi is very important to illustrate a destroyed family
through na irresponsible behavior of the husband at home.
On
the second book of Samuel, chapter18, paragraph 32 and 33 king Davi
cries in bitterness the death of his son Absalon. What father
wouldn’t behave the same way?
Davi
was a man according to god’s heart! Well...being in this position
doesn’t always mean to have a family in perfect harmony, according
to god’s Standards. Are you surprised? You sholdn’t !
The
destroyed family of Davi must be an alert to the children families
because they are in great danger and we must understand that, as any
father, Davi wanted the Best for his children, therefore He didn’t
invest time and attention to this important matter.
That’s
a terrible mistake...a mistake that many people make.
His
body and pride had come up...and He got amazed by the beauty of
Beteseba... He seduced her....Slept with her... And felt very proud
about it!!!
And
He was a very busy man. He didn’t have time to take care of his
sons...And He had many...
Twenty
children with his official wives..and we are not counting those with
his other women.... Anyway, He slept with Beteseba, a married
woman.... Married to one of his most valuable soldiers...
He
disobeyed the Law... And comitted sin according to God’s point of
view!
Everything
because of a carnal desire!!!!
And
she got pregnant... And Davi needed to make up a story to cause the
death of Beteseba’s husband.... But obviously He didnt suceed and
paid a hig price that ended up destroing his family!
And
everybody around him didn't trust him anymore.... Those Who
worshipped him dont consider his friendship anymore.
And
to plan Uriah’s death and get his revenge was another big mistake.
Yes,
He was a man according to god’s heart... But He couldn’t resist
to the Temptations... Now he goes back to the end of the line.
Comitting
a sin may cause a momentaneous state of pleasure, but it can destroy
you!!
If
you are a father or a mother find time for your children! Enjoy being
with them as much as possible. Give them Love and attention. Spend a
lot of time with them because they don't need your Money... They need
Love and attention It doesn't matter how old they are. They Will
Always be asking for it!
Lack
of Money does really affect and destroy relationships, especially
when the country is going through financial difficulties that scare
and surprise millions of people!
But I
have a tip for you!!! Learn how to live with what you earn and be
always grateful and happy, no matter the circunstances... And
obviously you have to work hard to change your reality!
When
Love is sincere and honest it Will last longer!!!
In
Eclesiastes, chapter 4 paragraph 12, Salomon says that IF the couple
prevail against each other they Will resist; and God has and
important role in their lives
Dear
people.....far away from God we might be carnal... But God wants us
to have a contricted and open heart...a humble heart!
In
Isaiah 40, we read that the glory of God Will be revealed and
everybody Will see it!
Reflect
about this! And may God give you forgiveness and Grace to all your
life!
