MÚSICA NA BAGAGEM On line– 30 Junho - International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation

 Após o concerto em Leiria, a International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation vai propor uma nova adaptação deste concerto, desta vez em linha, que será transmitido em aberto e gratuito a 30 de Junho a partir da plataforma Concert with you e IYMF Facebook page. 

Será um concerto híbrido com:
- Quarteto de Orquestra de Câmara de Bruxelas.
- Músicos tradicionais portugueses conduzidos por Rui Amado.
- Acordeonista, cantora, e compositora Celina da Piedade.
- E um coro de 150 crianças de 6 países que irão cantar "Menina Estás À Janela".

The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (IYMF) is proud to present Música Na Bagagem, an online concert marking the end of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the achievement of the Creative Europe project MUS-E ON STAGE.

WITH WHOM?
The Brussels Chamber Orchestra quartet, Portuguese traditional musicians conducted by Rui Amado, Celina da Piedade and more than 150 children from Belgium, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Portugal, together will offer a symbolic journey through image and music around the theme Portugal. 

WHEN?
The concert will take place at the Art & History Museum in Brussels, and will be broadcasted on Wednesday 30th June 2021 at 8 pm (CET) on our platform Concert with you and IYMF Facebook page. 

 

WHY?   MÚSICA NA BAGAGEM is the result of a unique European collaboration between classical musicians from Belgium, traditional musicians from Portugal and 150 children from Belgium, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy, Spain and Portugal.   More than 150 primary school children who do not have easy access to music education received music workshops during 4 months. They learnt about Portuguese music tradition and how to sing together one specific Portuguese song: “Menina Estas a Janela”.    All of that was made during the several lockdowns from January to May 2021 in Europe, in the framework of the Creative Europe Project  MUS-E ON STAGE.    MUS-E ON STAGE is led by the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Associação Yehudi Menuhin Portugal together with MUS-E Belgium, Fundación Yehudi Menuhin España (FYME), MUS-E Italia Onlus, MUS-E Hungary and MUS-E Cyprus.
